FRIENDSHIP DESTROYED

I thought the  pain of betrayal was bad
Until I felt the pain of a friendship destroyed.
Long friendships are hard to keep
But a short talk can kill it all.

I thought the pain of betrayal was bad
Untiil I saw the hurt I caused.
Love pains are the worst
For it reaches out to destroy.

The tears I shed in my pain
Cannot repair the damage caused.
Forgiveness is a Christian's duty.
Will you forgive me my remarks?
